Linda and family, we are sorry to hear of your loss, Doug and Carol Savage, Ponoka, AB.

I am so proud that Jim Basset was my Dad. He was the most amazing man I had ever known. It makes my heart happy to see how many people loved and respected my Dad. I know that with his guidance and strength we will get through this together! Thanks to everyone for your kind words.

Listen Closely

Today will be the day
that I faintly say farewell.

So you listen closely
and a story I will tell.

Listen closely, listen softly
each and every day,
as long as you are listening-
beside you is where I'll stay.

Yesterday, today and tomorrow
we will always share.

Open your heart to see me,
and know that I still care.

We will be together
for as long as you hold true,
hold on to my memory
and together we will get through.
