It was such a shock to hear of Jamie's passing. Our hearts are breaking for you. Unfortunately we will be unable to attend the memorial in Saskatoon. (John is booked for remedial cataract surgery next week so we have no driver). Know that our love and thoughts will be with you. Love, John and Lynne Panasiuk

Rest in peace Jamie. It was a joy working with you

I met Jamie as a young mom over 25 years ago, when I taught her children in preschool. Jamie was a soft-spoken, nurturing mom who was always willing to help. She valued family and friends, inviting me into her home on Kingsmere for coffee and a chat. In more recent years, she and I shared news and a giggle or two at her workplace a couple of times a week. She always spoke highly of her husband and children, and shared her excitement over Courtney's August wedding. She was always positive and hopeful. I will miss her smile.

My sincere condolences go out to Jamie's family on the loss of such a young, brave, kind, creative soul.

Jamie, there are a million things I wish I could have said to you. You were an absolutely amazing mother and the best mother-in-law anybody could have asked for. The way you welcomed me into your family has left an indelible mark on me. I will truly miss seeing you nearly every Sunday for supper. Sharing a joke, or a series of increasingly ridiculous recurring jokes was always great fun... even when you gave me a good swat behind the head.

You never made me feel like I didn't belong. Courtney and I's first Christmas at your's and Don's home opened my eyes to how much love you had in your heart. You loved family and you loved traditions to share with your family. I promise you that Courtney and I will continue these traditions with our children. You would have been an amazing grandmother, and it fills my heart with sorrow that we have lost you so soon.

I promise I will take care of your daughter, who misses you dearly. I love her with all my heart.

I love you, ma. I know you'll be watching over all of us from heaven.
