I just learned recently that your Mom passed away.As I look through the photos that you have posted ,I can't help but smile. My first year of teaching was in Watson with your Mom on staff. That was in 1963.I was young and nervous and your Mom took me under her wing.We had so much fun and so many laughs. Her door was always open.We partied lots at your house when you kids were all small.Your Mom seemed to have endless energy and was always ready for a good time.A few years later I moved to Watrous to teach and I was happy to be able to share my classroom for a short time with Diane as a student teacher.
I have many fond memories of your Mom and they all put a smile on my face.Your Mom was a TREASURE!

Thank you for sharing your mother. She was an incredible woman who made school a wonderful adventure first for me and then later for my two children. She had a "joie de vivre" that was contagious and I remember the fun we had in our painting classes together. She was a remarkable woman - young at heart - with a wonderful insatiable thirst for learning and trying new things. I loved her enthusiasm, laughter and generous spirit. I will never forget her.

Dennis, Duffy, Bev and the clan,
From time to time in our lives we encounter someone who we truly cherish. Such was your mother. There was NEVER a dull moment around Watson Elementary when Doreen was there. She packed more excitement and fun into a classroom, staff room and school than anyone I've ever encountered. Simply put, she made everyone's life better.
