Keith was my CO when I was posted to Outlook in 1980. He was a highly respected Officer and a true gentleman. Job well done Sir. RIP

June and I first met Keith and Phyllis at Swift Current. He was the OC and I his second man. We hit it off and over the years, Keith reminded me more than once that it was he who recommended me for a Commission. I still remember too him boasting about the time he fired a ball from his catcher position and caught me out at first base. Keith served the RCMP well and now he is added to the list of fallen comrades. Our sincere condolences to Karen, Kirk and all the family. Cec and June Coutts

On behalf of the Saskatoon Division of the RCMP Vets Association, we would like to express our deepest condolences to the Ziegler Family. Keith was a highly respected member of Force and also of the Veterans Association of which he was a member since 1981. He served as President of the Saskatoon Vets for 2 years and further as Past President for another two years. May he rest in peace. We shall remember him.

Kieth was my Grandfather, he was the man to teach me the basics of street hockey, introduce me to Timbits, and share his life advice and stories from the past. My brother and I managed to visit him this past June, this time, I shared my life stories about finishing University, traveling to Europe and getting married to my wife. It was a very fulfilling last visit with him and I will cherish that moment. Keith had a great impact on many throughout his life, he will be missed.

Keith was my first Officer Commanding in Swift Current. The members loved him as OC. We played ball together, and yes he always remembered people and showed interest in them and their families. A great leader. I spoke with him on his birthday last year and he recalled events like they were yesterday. I will miss him.
