Mary, Leslie, Jessica, Eric, Myrna, Brian, Cheryl, and all of your respective families.

I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of Ken. I will always remember him standing behind the counters at the bowling alley. His humour and his laugh. His sternness when it was needed. His patience. His kindness.

It was in your bowling alley that I met and fell in love with my first boyfriend. A real milestone for a young gal. I can't say Ken didn't have a part of that union happening. He teased Robert about me just as well as everyone else did. We started dating on my 16th birthday, February 12, his wedding anniversary. I will always think of him and your family from this day on on that day.

I am sorry that he was taken so suddenly from you so soon, but I am so thankful that he saw so many milestones in his life. Many of them were celebrated recently. He was well accomplished and so happy that he (and all of you) were a part of my childhood.

Ken, go take your place among the stars and the angels. We all know you earned your place there. Take your place in God's bowling alley. Pour the saints a beer and have a few good laughs. Whenever I hear the roaring thunder, I will look to the sky and know that Ken just rolled another strike!

Only the good die young.
