I have just heard of Nina's passing. My deepest condolences to her family and friends. Nina was an inspiration to me as her work for the council of Women at all levels was so impressive. she was a brilliant, lovely person, and a wonderful mentor.

As the 1st Vice President of the National Council of Women of Canada, I extend our sincere condolences on the passing of your Mother. Nina was one of our finest activists and leaders. She was instrumental in bringing several societal concerns to the forefront along with offering practical solutions to them. Her dedication to working with, and for, the women and children of our country will long be remembered. She was bold; she was courageous. We are thankful for her work within our organization, and we will honour her by continuing to press for improved conditions for all. Please accept our sincere sympathies on her passing.

Dr Bigsby and Jennifer and family, I'm sorry to read about your mom and grandma's passing. It doesn't matter how old they are or we are , it's a sad thing to lose a parent.
It sounds like she lived a full and happy life. I'm sure she was very proud of all of you. Our sympathies to all of you!!
