Dear Audrey and Siemens Family,

I have just read the moving obituary describing your much loved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

I am so sorry to hear of his passing and your loss. While presence with Jesus is sweeter than his last days here, the loss of a parent, at any age, is always significant and poignant.
I extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to all of you.

Audrey, I am Grace Nickel's daughter, Joanne, and when she lived in Bentley Manor, I always enjoyed my visits with you. Your peace and caring in the midst of some difficult days was very evident. May God, our great Comforter, hide you under his wing and heal your sadness. Thanks be to Him for your life together and your wonderful family.

Love and prayers

I am so sorry for your loss. Growing up next door to Dr. Siemens and family, I have many memories - of Peter driving Beth and I to school in the station wagon on winter days, feeding Kanga the dog ice cream at night before bed, the twinkle in his eye, and of course, our family owes him a debt of gratitude for literally saving my father, Paul's life, when he had his first heart attack. When we lost my dad years later, Audrey and Peter were there for our family. I appreciated that Dr and Mrs always expected the best from me and never treated me as if I wasn't capable of understanding bigger issues. I hope your memories are a balm to the pain of losing your loved one.

Dear Audrey and family,

My deepest condolences to all of you. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to meet my Uncle Peter and to meet you all that summer in Saskatoon. James called me yesterday on his way to Saskatoon to let me know that Peter had died. I am so sorry for your loss. Katie (Nell's first born) xo

My deepest and heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Siemens (Audrey) and the children of Dr. Siemens (Peter). I am so very sorry for your loss.
Dr. Siemens (Peter) was such a very special man. Sharing his knowledge, love, compassion and understanding to so many, many people. He will truly be missed by many.
May you Rest In Peace Dr. Siemens.
Once again, I am so very sorry for your loss.

My deepest and most heart felt condolences to Audrey, (Mrs. Siemens), his children and extended of Dr. Siemens. I am so terribly sorry for your loss.
I/we lived beside the Siemens family on McAskill Cres. for many, many years. If I'm not mistaken, I do believe that one of the sons still resides at that address.
I can still recall the weekend that the Siemens family moved in next door. That was quite a few years ago.
I remember Dr.Siemens as being such a warm, loving and kind hearted man. I had the greatest respect for Dr. Siemens. I remember being trusted with their sweet cocker spaniel dog Nugget when she had a litter of puppies. The family had planned a holiday and wasn't sure what to do. Dr. Siemens came over and asked me if I wouldn't mind checking on Nugget and her couple day old litter of puppies. Making sure that she had food and water. And taking her outside to do her "business". I felt so honored! That is just one of the many memories I have with Dr. Siemens and family.
I have never met a more warm and loving family. A very, very rare trait these days. No doubt something that Dr. and Mrs. Siemens instilled in their children. Because they are just like him. Dr. Siemens ALWAYS had a quick hello whenever he saw me.
Dr. Siemens was truly one of God's very special people. I have no doubt that he was chosen by God with the ability to teach, share and cure the people around him. His love and understanding with everyone around him was second to none. His family should truly be proud of your fathers accomplishments.
Dr. Siemens will truly be missed on this earth. However, I just know that he will be a great and wonderful help to our Lord in heaven. He truly was one of God's very special people while he was on this earth.
May you Rest In Peace Dr. Siemens. You will be missed by many.
