Dak & Bret-
words can't begin to express how sorry I was to learn of Dean's passing. He played an important part in my professional development.
I first met him through the IAAM and I an thankful for the time he took to answer my many questions and provide me with timely advice. I consider him a gracious professional and a visionary in the industry.
At the IAAM conference the year he was President, I ran into him while he was on the way to his hotel right before an important event. He had a spot on his tie and was going to get another and would be late for the event. I offered my tie so he would not have to rush. At first, he refused because he did not want to inconvenience me. Finally I convinced him by telling a small fib - that I could be late and I could easily return to the hotel and get another of my ties. I didn't have another tie! He must have told that tie story a thousand times!!
Our condolences...May you both find peace...

Dear Dak & Bret -- We were so sorry to hear of Dean's passing. He was a wonderful friend to us from the day we moved into Timberlake. We certainly had some wondeful times together playing golf, our long standing poker group, and his help in building a great County Club. He will be greatly missed throughout the entire Timberlake family. Dak, we look forward to being in touch with you soon.
