His signature look will be sadly missed on Red Bubble - R.I.P. Jay - Shirley (EdsMum)
So sorry to hear this very sad news. Months after it happened as well. I will always remember a kind, thoughtful and helpful artist who responded promptly and cared about beauty and composition and all things photographic! So sad to hear this.
I am very sorry to hear of your passing, my friend. I never met you face to face but I felt I knew you very personally thru your artwork and your kindness when featuring works and making comments on Redbubble. You were very humble, kind and quick to praise. You will be sorely missed and may we meet on the other side, singing in God's choir.
I didnt know you but you were very kind may you rest in peace you will be missed dearly.
Will miss you, Jay you were a great co host in my redbubble groups,

I am torn up! I just learned of your untimely passing as googling your blog to see what you were up to. I had no idea that you were flying high with the beautiful angels. You were so faithful to your work and I will cherish having the opportunity to help you with some of your online work supporting artists. With much love, we will miss you!
I miss and love you so much my heart aches. May you be held in God's loving arms forever with angels always surrounding and protecting your soul.

Mr. Jay was a fine gentleman who I grew to respect very much. I only with time had allowed me to have gotten to know him better. May God's peace bring comfort to you all.
I always respected Jay, and he will be missed greatly.
There was never enough time to see you before and now you have gone to join eternity - Peace and love to us all until we meet again
I would have liked to have known Mr. Gross. So sorry for your loss.
Jay's arts and writings are well done. His ability to inspire the same in others was exceptional. Best of all were his abilities at being a friend.
I would like to express my sincere condolences to all who knew and loved Mr. Gross. Jay was a kind, funny man with so many wonderful creative talents. I am thankful to Mr. Gross for being a kind neighbor. He donated his book to the Rock For A Cause Silent Auction and Fido Silent Auction. Mr. Gross will be missed but I would like to think that he lives on with the many creative endeavors that he shared with us.
Jay, it was too soon. Smile down on us from your perch! --Karen Borup
Jay was a very talented and skillful writer and photographer. He was also a good friend to those of us who knew him. My sympathy goes to his family and other friends.
I was delighted to see Jay at our last high school reunion luncheon. I've had his business card on my desk ever since. The picture shown above is the one on his card. The day before his death I had a vision of all his classmates welcoming him with open arms...thinking it was of the next reunion but maybe it was of all those who love him welcoming him home. I'm sure of it! I hope you'll be there to welcome me, Jay.
I knew and worked with Jay for nearly thirty years.. losing him in such a tragic way, especially the day before his Birthday hit me like a ton of bricks.. he was one of the most immensely talented, gracious, generous, humor-filled people I have ever known.. I will never forget you, Jay.. Rest in Peace..
Deepest sympathy to family and close friends of Jay.
Such a tragic way for this very talented man to lose his life.
