ROBERT ASHPOLE
FRESNO, CALIF. — Robert Earl Ashpole, 89, formerly of Edwardsville, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014, in Fresno, Calif., after an extended illness. He is survived by his wife Joyce and five children, former Edwardsville residents. His remains were cremated. Memorials to St. Jude's Hospital. Farewell Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Joyce, Bobby, and family. So sorry to learn of your loss. Linda and I loved having you and Bob as neighbors. We probably wouldn't be living here today if you & Bob hadn't told us about our house being for sale. Bobby was always like a third son to us as the boys were growing up. We've missed you all so much since you moved to California. We'll continue to miss Bob and hope to see him with our Lord in heaven some day. He was a good man and a wonderful neighbor. We pray that our God will be with you to strengthen and comfort you during this time of sorrow. Charlie & Linda Tedrick.
