The funeral home was packed tight... standing room only... for the Masonic Funeral Service for our good brother and "Dad." What an incredible tribute to Garfield, to see so many of his brothers and the young men of the Order of DeMolay present to pay tribute to him. His legacy of service and dedication lives on in each of them, and in all who remember his selfless labor on behalf of others. Thank you, Gar, for setting a great example for all of us to follow! On behalf of the members and Advisors of Pennsylvania DeMolay, I extend condolences to "Mom" Beynon and his entire family.

My son Colton is a member of the DeMolay.
I got to know Mr Beynon thru all the functions they had at the Pittston and Scranton chapters. He was always involved. At a time when most people would be slowing down in their lives he exhibited the energy of someone half his age. He was truly dedicated and devoted to his Masonic brothers and the DeMolay boys. He exemplified the true meaning of love of one's community. He will be missed by all who new him.
