Nick & Patrick - you were truly blessed with an awesome woman for your mom. She was intelligent, positive, energetic, goal driven, kind hearted, compassionate, classy woman. She touched my families heart over the last 13 years. I have considered her friend, co/worker, mentor and most of all encourager. She kept me on track when the going was tough and was always there as my cheerleader. I lost my mom last year at that time, and your mom was right there with the perfect words to help at that time. I will never forget her and neither will my husband. She truly blessed us.

I am so very saddened to hear of Maureen's passing. I remember the afternoon we spent together in Hawaii enjoying the view and the sunshine by the pool (back in the early 90"s). I have a great picture of she and I by that pool that I have always cherished. She was such an inspiration..I know how your hearts are aching. I just lost my daughter Lisa 3 months ago to colon cancer. My heart is broken also. Try to remember the good times and all the many lives she touched. warmly, Pam Gandee, Lia Sophia Division Leader in Maryland.

A woman my husband and I looked up to, and our young daughter learned to love too. She was not only a wonderful inspirational leader, but a friend. She was the kind of woman that all of us inspire to be one day in our businesses, but most of all within our lives as she always made sure to treasure her family first. We will always be in our thoughts, hearts, and prayers Maureen as you are now healed and we're positive are blinging up the heavens above.

Maureen was an inspiration to all who had the honor to meet her and also to those that weren't as lucky to meet her and spend time with her, but heard stories of her generosity, inspiration and success. I pray that all of her family and friends are able to hold their memories close to the heart and that they may provide peace. Maureen's fingerprint will forever be on the hearts of many! Tricia Ruud

Maureen was an angel sent from Heaven and has now gone home. She was the epitome of a successful business woman. For the few short years I knew her, she became such a role model for me through lia sophia. She has spunk, kindness, courage, and the best attitude through anything. I always loved seeing her in person, giving her a hug, and seeing her eyes sparkle as she talked. She was a blessing to everyone she met. My prayers are with her family and loved ones in this difficult time.

Maureen was an inspiration to be seen in the light of every facet for all women and she touched lives in a way only God's chosen can and now she's been called home - yet not before she's left a Legacy here...her Grace and Elegance were admired in the way she made it possible to not only achieve the 'American Dream' (lia sophia) showing if you BELIEVE anything is possible...she was a Mother, Daughter, Sister, Friend and Volunteer - so many facets of her Legacy will live on and for that we are blessed...GodSpeed Maureen.

Maureen - a very couragous woman, knowlegable, positive, & an entrepeneur. She always made me (everyone) feel special. What a woman, kind, thoughtful, & an awesome friend. I worked as a lia sophia leader with her on special lia sophia events: NYC, AZ, Hollywood, etc. Always such a hard worker and frugal. Maureen looked out for everyone. She always made sure the i's were dotted, and the t's were crossed. She confided in me to help her pick out a wig in Az - I was so honored. What a beautiful woman, inside and out. Maureen will be deeply missed.I know she is in a better place in peace!!! My thoughts & prayers are of her & her family. I pray that everyone will have strength & Peace. BELIEVE!! Love to all.

I met Maureen in NYC in 2002 on a lia Sophia trip she co-sponsored with fellow Zone Leader Angela Preuss. Even though I was not on her "team" she treated me like I was. I will remember the way she made me feel very special and welcomed. May she rest in peace and my prayers are with the surviving family and friends. Maureen will be missed in our lia Sophia world for sure.

Heaven has gained another angel. Maureen was a great neighbor and friend who always made me laugh as we grew up together in a wonderful neighborhood. We were so happy to see one another in Phoenix and West Pittston in recent years. It was as if we never skipped a beat. My daughter, Heather, sold Lia Sophia with Maureen's guidance here in Arizona. Maureen loved her family and she will be missed by everyone who were fortunate to know her...Kathy (Lavelle) Donovan, Anthem, AZ.
