Catherine was, quite simply, inspirational. When she returned to the harp after over 50 years of absence, she quickly made up for lost time and gave so much to others through her playing and talking about the harp. Despite health issues, playing the harp gave her such a determined sense of purpose that she could give to society and she performed in care homes and hospices for the terminally ill and their carers as well as WI groups and musical gatherings. Catherine facilitated lessons for others by generously loaning them her instruments and she herself taught and passed on the passion and enthusiasm which she had for the instrument to others, most notably to her cherished adult students Ursula and Eira, of whom she was very proud.
It was a joy to see Catherine become a liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Musicians - a role which she absolutely relished. Her creativity, wisdom yet lively and down to earth nature has touched so many lives and we will miss her dearly.

A wonderful women that lite up a room with her entrance. A delight to talk to, with a marvelous and contagious sense of adventure.
Love from all of the Webster Family in Canada.
