I was lucky enough to visit Edmund weekly ,then twice weekly in the last 2 years of his life.We happened to get on very well, with the interests of the area we both lived in,and the love of silver. He was always up for a good old chit chat,we even missed the bus stop one time, because we were talking so much.He hid his obvious success in life from me,I only had to read between the lines, to see how successful in the silver market and in life he had been.He always spoke of his wife, and family in such an endearing way.He managed to attend a wedding in the last 2 months of his life. Clover his daughter's second born, and told me about it.How the Great Grand children behaved so well etc.We managed an outing to Beauchamp Place, the V.A. museum and numerous trips to Holland Park.He took me to see Peter Pan ,and we often visited Kensington Gardens, and decided which pot we would like in our garden.I will miss him hugely,he was rather like my Papa and certainly filled in a void for me.With Love and respect to you and all you family .Rosemary
