Dear Donald & Steven & families:
I have just found out about Isabel's passing and want to send you my deepest sympathies and condolences. I had received a card from Isabel at Christmas and she had said her health had "suddenly gone down hill" and she would be trying out a care home. I was hoping she would rally and her health would improve. I guess that was not meant to be. Isabel was a very special remarkable lady and I was so grateful that I had the chance to meet with her and your Dad both here in Canada and in Fort William. They were so proud of all of you. Their Christmas letters always included news of their travels down under to visit Steven and family and of the visits they had from Donald and family throughout the year. Updates were provided on the whole family and of course photos were included. I am fortunate that I was able meet Donald, Steven, Fiona and Emma when I was in London so very many years ago. It was a special time and I have many fond memories. Isabel was so dearly loved and the memories we have of her are now golden and to be treasured. She will always be in my thoughts and prayers. Again I am so sorry for your loss. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love leaves a memory no one can steal." All of my love during this difficult time.
