I just learned of Holly's passing. We grew up together in the same block..about 3 doors apart! So many special memories. She taught me to walk on stilts in the carport, she took me skiing and put me on th "bunny hill". We sang to the Beatles and David Cassidy with our 45 rpm record player. Holly had a beautiful chinese jewelry box that played music and I would ask her to play it when I spent the night. Although it's been 40 yrs....it's like time has never passed. Please accept my thoughts and prayers...Lovingly, Mary Adams, formerly of Manistee, MI.

As I look back on my memories of Holly, they are all positive. I always enjoyed talking to her. Her realistic view of life was refreshing to me. As I've mourned her passing this past month something struck me recently about Holly - she did not live in the fear of what other people thought. I began to realize how I often worry or fear over what other people might think of me. I will do my best to honor Holly by casting that fear aside and living the way Holly did; confident of herself yet considerate of others, letting her heart guide her into her future.

Mike, Andrew and Tyler -

We are so saddened by the tragic and sudden passing of Holly. She was an extremely special lady and will be so greatly missed by the masses of people that she left a lasting impression on during her fifty-eight years.

Her self effacing and keen dry wit combined with her unique "tell it like it is" approach to life always made for both interesting as well as refreshing conversation. She was truly one of a kind.

Our prayers are with you during this most difficult period.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. My deepest condolences go out to Mike, Andrew, Tyler and all her family. Holly was truly a great person and will always be remembered. Going over to the "Lumley house" when I was growing up with Andrew was always something to look forward to. Holly always supported us, from the baseball field to the home.
