Susan, I did not know your Mother, but I have always heard she was a wonderful person. How blessed we are to have kept our Mothers so long. Mine lived to be 90, yours to 92. I feel your loss. My Mother died in 2009. Miss her every day, and I know you will miss yours. God will lift you up during this difficult time, and grant you peace. She has seen the face of her Savior and you will see her again some day. With love, Sarah S. Grice

Margaret was a very special lady and precious friend to me. I first met her when Buck was at Piedmont. She always had a smile and always met me with a hug. She helped get residents to the dining room each month for our Bible study and handed out song books to the residents who came. I will miss our talks so much! I loved that precious lady, and lady she was!

Mrs. McCurdy was a wonderful friend. I work at Piedmont Crossing and we had become very close over the years. I always enjoyed seeing her and her friends when they got through having dinner in the dining room @ Piedmont Crossing they would always come by the reception desk and talk and let me know how there day had gone. Mrs. McCurdy loved her family and would talk about you all a lot to me. Susan your Mother was so special to me and I will hold a special place in my heart for the special times we shared together. Lindsay she was so excited when you became engaged and she was just talking about your up coming wedding to me last week. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all during this difficult time. She had stated to me so many times that she hoped when her time came she hoped it would be fast and it sounds like it was. I know you all will miss her but she has reached her reward and is with "Buck" again that she missed so much and would state that sometime during out conversations.

Please know that Margaret was a precious and dear friend. She was always so cute and well dressed. We used to enjoy seeing each other in the balcony of FUMC and about town as well when she was up to it. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time and in the days ahead. Much love,
