BURLINGTON- Mrs. Carolyn Jean Jones Miles passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018.
Carolyn was the daughter of Willie H. Jones and Nettie Richmond Jones, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Larry Jones and one sister, Fannie Jones Jackson.
Survivors include one son, Carldos Miles of Burlington; one daughter, Carolco Miles of Burlington; three brothers, McKever Jones, Wilson Jones (Gwen), both of Burlington and Clyde Jones of Greensboro; three sisters, Rosetta Jones, Vivian Johnson (Arness) both of Burlington and LaVerne Gary of Durham; five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Carolyn's funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Jeffries Cross Baptist Church with Rev. Benjamin Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Alamance Funeral Service from 6-7 pm and all other times at the home. Carolyn's public viewing will be held on Monday from 1-5:00 pm at the funeral home.
Alamance Funeral Service has the honor of serving the Jones-Miles Family.

Carolyn was a friend to the end. Always honest in her opinions and willing to help in any way that she could. I can't believe that it's been 4 years since her transition. Praying that her spirit is safe in the harms of Jesus and God.

Carika and Carlos, I'm so sorry to hear of Carolyn's passing. I had tried to contact her several times after hearing that she was not doing well. Just know that I was praying for her and am praying for you as you go through the loss of your mother. May she always hold that special place in your memories and your hearts.
