Our family has been humbled beyond measure by the beautiful expressions of love during the loss of our loved one. He was dear to so many and he is smiling down on us from heaven. A life well lived deserves eternal rest.

We love and appreciate each of you,

My family expresses it's sincere condolences for the loss of your patriarch. Mrs. Cooper, Renee, & "T" and extended family members, I truly understand your pain as I grieve alongside you. I will never forget fall of 1982, I had the unique opportunity to meet Mr. Cooper, as I came calling to court his lovely daughter. The conversation we had prior to receiving his and Mrs. Cooper blessing. I think back how my nerves were calm after this welcoming but honorable voice told me what the expectations where for a young gentlemen dating their only daughter and the consequences for misconduct, too!! As time extended through the spring each visit got more comfortable than the last and I really appreciated the wisdom, knowledge, love, and above all the respect bestowed upon me @ the house on Woodard Street. Mr. Cooper was a complete & perfect example of what young males of all ethnicities should emulate growing into manhood. May God Bless your family and provide strength in the days ahead.
