Having just read in the Tulane Magazine that Beth had passed, it feels as if the world is emptier with less light. Beth and her Mom were a central part of my Newcomb world, and through the years she was many times in my thoughts. My condolences to her family and friends…and to her communities which she served and cared for.

I'll never forget the sincere kindness that both Bob and Beth showed us after moving into our home this year. It was such a blessing to have them as neighbors. I have kept all of the personal handwritten notes/letters that Beth wrote to us/me during our difficult times, because of this, Beth has inspired me to start writing again. We consider you more than just neighbors but call you a very dear friend. We hold you in our prayers and thoughts.
Sincerely,

After moving into our new home, you both made us feel so welcome. Beth's hand written letter to us were very comforting and kind. We considered you guys friends as well as neighbors. Unfortunately we did not get to spend more time with Beth, but the time we did know her, we consider a blessing. It's is not often you meet people that are so sincere as Beth and Bob. We consider it a great honor to both know our new neighbors and friends. I personally felt touched by Beth's written letters, so much so that it has inspired me to start writing again. She will be truly missed and a blessing to meet. Our thoughts and prayers are always with your family.
Sincerely,
Ara and Chef Fett

Bobby, I remember when you, Beth and I went to see Buddy Himes' new house. She was beautiful then and full of positive encouragement for the design and decor, of which Buddy was very proud. She cared a bout people's feelings and it was obvious even then. Such a beautiful woman through and through. I wish I had had the opportunity to have known her better. My heart goes out to you in your grief, and the days when you will miss her seemingly inconsolably. But it is not forever. Remember that. She did in her lovely, tender and hope filled service. Hang on to Heaven's promise that your love and faith on this earth will bring you together again in the next life.

Words cannot possibly express the void I feel in my life after the loss of our beautiful Beth. It seems she had permeated practically every facet of my everyday activities. We were like sisters the last few years. Her intellect, wicked wit and sheer joy for life brought me so much joy. I will miss her greatly.

Stunned that Beth, who was smart, dedicated, beautiful, funny, and a servant of God and community has passed at such a young age. She was an important part of my college experience at Newcomb and within Chi Omega. May you take comfort in knowing Beth adored you and may she rest in the arms of the Lord.

Robert, Harper and Wallace I want to extend my condolances you for your great loss. After I lost my wife, Sarah, Beth would always inquire about my well being and I appreciated that. I know she was a wonderful wife, mother, companion and friend to all of you and cherish those memories. The community will miss her, but know she has left her positive mark in many of the organizations and community projects she took part in. The three of you and the extended family are all in my prayers. My God guide you and comfort you during these times of sorrow. Lee
