Estelle Beavers Brister

Funeral services for Mrs. Estelle B. Brister will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Dry Prong Assembly of God, Dry Prong, Louisiana with Reverends Danny Garner and Jeremy Brister officiating. Interment will be in Lone Pine Cemetery, Bentley, Louisiana, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home in Pineville.

Mrs. Brister, age 89, of Bentley, entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Grace Home, Alexandria, Louisiana.

She was a member of Dry Prong Assembly of God Church. She was a homemaker. She loved growing flowers and traveling. She was a Pastor's wife for twenty years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Frank Brister; parents, Nancy and Wiley Beavers; two sons, Jack Brister and Frank Robert Brister; five brothers, Willie, Houston, Floyd, Ellis and Huey Beavers; four sisters, Bessie Cooper, Lessie Roberts, Susie Howell, Minnie Beavers; two grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, Charles Brister (Adelle) of Ball; two daughters, Betty Ritchie (Marvin) of Bentley and Shirley Canoe (Gary) of Bentley; sixteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Brian Canoe, Randy Canoe, Keith Brister, Frankie Brister, Tim Brister, Durant Ritchie; honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Fletcher, Jerry Brister, Billy Look, Mike Ashcraft, Alan Williams, Randy McCain and Edward Achord.

Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Monday, November 12, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Dry Prong Assembly of God, Bentley, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
