I only met him professionally here in San Diego California. He was giving classes to the non- management personnel. In a quiet moment, almost a one-on-one Q&A moment with me, after I had asked a question, he told me the answer. Then he looked around to see if anyone had heard. Assured that no one had, he looked back at me and said, "Don't tell your boss I said that. Management told me not to teach you guys too much!" I'm not sure he was telling me the truth, but I always had the idea he was. I took his news letter for awhile afterwards, but disconnected with him. I'm writing this in Sept. 2016, so you can see how long it's been since I knew anything about Lucian. Still I have fond memories. I'm sorry for his love ones loss. He was a hoot!!!

The best thing our utility company did in 20 years was to hire Lucian for employee training. I loved his stories and words of wisdom. "If you already know this material, then learn how I teach it to others". He was a gifted insructor who had a positive impact on countless employees, from the new hire in the mailroom, to the senior executive.

I am so sorry to hear about Lucian going home to be with our Lord. He was a great speaker on finances and I owe allot of my financial success to his teachings. Several years ago, Lucian was a speaker at my place of employment (PECO Energy) and the following year he gave a gratis presentation for the Appalachian Gas Measurement Short Course (AGMSC). I was looking Lucian up to be a repeat speaker for the special 2015 75th Anniversary of the AGMSC and I found out about his passing. He was a great & "FUNNY" man whom could make the most confusion financial terms make perfect sense! Always remember ROE 12%! and the two syllable word yiii-eld! He always had great jokes! My heart & prayers goes out to the Conway family. He will be missed but I know God is enjoying Lucian company in heaven! I can see Lucian tell God one of his classic Bubba & Beudro Jokes! I prayer for our Lord Jesus Christ to bring his peace & comfort that goes beyond our understanding to the Conroy family in this time of bereavement & remembrance. Matt. 5:4 “Blessed are those who morn for they will be comforted”. I pray the family comfort will be in the Lord knowing he is taking the best care of Lucian. Amen!

I am sorry to just learn of Lucian's passing. I was privelaged to attend a Business Reality for the Electric Workforce seminar in February of 2008 at San Diego Gas & Electric. It was the best one I ever attended because of his great personality. I happened to look at my Lucian Conway email file and noticed that I have not received a recent email from Conway Consulting so I did a search. I have been receiving the emails since March of 2008. Once again I am very sorry.

Dear Conway Family; I recently learned that Lucian is now with the Lord. I attended a couple of his classes as an Entergy employee and he was truly a great teacher who made you want to learn. He also talked about his family and his love for the Lord in class, so I was honored to attend his classes, I will miss not attending more; but like another person mentioned, he is teaching the angels. I am so sorry for your loss. May God give you peace.

Dear Conway Family and Friends,
I was sorry to hear that Lucian had gone to his reward a bit sooner than I expected. After only one class with Lucian, I feel that he could teach angels something that they don't already know. If they knew the subject, he would make the experience fun for them.

I respected his breadth of knowledge and his honesty.

Karen, So sorry for your loss and your family's loss. Your brother was quite an accomplished man. So sorry that he was called to Heaven at such a young age. He is now in Heaven with my dad who just passed in October. They can now compare Sunday school lessons. May God give you all peace and understanding through these days ahead.

To the Evelyn Conway Family: Sometimes the Lord chooses a path for us that we don"t understand; sometimes He calls our loved ones Home before we are ready to let them go. Consider the honor Lubo brought to you while he was with us and know that he is saving your place in Heaven. What a blessing to have had a son like Lubo. The angels are celebrating. Dear Allison and Conway Family;
Lucian's love for life, knowledge, and people will live on for all of us that knew him. I have had the pleasure of attending his seminars at Southern California Edison for the last 20 or so years and find those memories some of the highlights of my career. I know he touched, motivated, enlightened, and brought laughter to many where ever he went and one can not want more from one's life. We are all in a better place for finding his footsteps to follow in life. Thanks Lucian.

Dearest Suzanne, Allison and family,
Lucian was a unique intelligent man who had a special way with words. Everyone at SDG&E loved to attend his classes! He could ignite a crowd with his love of life and enthusiasm for whatever topic he was discussing. I especially loved his stories! I consider myself blessed to have known him professionally and I considered him my friend. I just adored him! May God continue to bless you with his strength and love through this difficult time.

Our deepest sympathy,

Lucian will be greatly missed. This was a man who truly loved his family and his God. The last conversation I had with him after a 5K was spent talking about how much he loved dancing with his wife. To listen to him talk about how much he loved her made me want to make sure more than ever that I not settle when it comes to choosing my soul mate. I am deeply blessed by the friendship of his daughters and encouraged by the strength of his wife. They are all testaments to a true legend indeed.
