Dear Ms. Darlene, Krista, Kerry, Karen, and Keli:
I'm saddened to hear about the loss of Mr. Oscar Kastanek. To this day I remember him coming to help with the Ruby Wise ballpark and our team going to practice at your home. Please know you have my deepest sympathy.
One of my favorite memories of Mr. Kastanek is when we would go practice how he would come by Ms. Darlene and pick on her.
I hope the passage of time will help ease your sadness and leave you with happy memories. In the meantime, I'm sending healing thoughts and support your way.

I remember fondly the Kastanek family from my 4-H and Jr. Leader days many, many years ago. My sympathies to your entire family, especially Kerry. God bless you.

Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this time. My dad called me this morning and told me about Mr. Kastanek. I remember all the good times I had growing up with you all. Memories I will always hold dear to my heart.

"Strong"...that was Uncle Oscar. He could stack more hay bales, dig more fence posts, lift more lumber than anybody. The pictures the family posted here reveal the loving heart of this gentle giant. He leaves a strong legacy. We are blessed to count him family.
