Funeral services for Mrs. Yvonne Chevalier Rine will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 in Peniel Baptist Church, Calcasieu with Reverend Gary Richarson officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Melder under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mrs. Rine, 77, of Melder, entered eternal rest on Monday, November 5, 2012 in her residence with her loving family by her side.
She was preceded in death her parents, Edgar and Vera Chevalier and one brother, Leroy Chevalier.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her loving husband of sixty years, Byron "Mr. Barney" Rine of Melder; two sons, Byron Bennett Rine, III and Barry Leon Rine, both of Glenmora; one daughter, Pamela Bond and her husband, David of Sibley; two brothers, Edgar Chevalier and his wife, JoAnn of Yuma, Arizona and Charles Clark of Arkansas; three sisters, Peggy Guin and her husband, Pete of Pineville, Francis Clark of Alexandria and Louise Owens of Pollock; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Pete Guin, Randall Chevalier, James Rine, Billy Ott, Michael Chevalier and Duwan Poitter. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Ott and Brittain Ott.
Friends may call at Peniel Baptist Church, Calcasieu on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until time of services on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.

She was a beautiful lady and a wonderful person. I will always hold dear the love she showed me. Please, give Mr. Rine my condolences, as well as a hug.
