RIP poppy... you will be loved and never forgotten. I will always remember the guided tours through your tool sheds or when you would remove your false teeth and make some of the funniest faces. You were a good man and the world will never be the same without you. So sleep tight until we meet again soon, I love you poppy. X

Dennis I didn't have much to do with my pops, because they passed when I was young. So you were like my pop as well as Mischa's. I enjoyed your company and really appreciate the way you made me feel accepted and apart of your family! RIP Dennis. Thanks for the benders they're my most valued tool!

Lin and Mad

Swiftly,
Softly,
The pages of the days have turned,
Swiftly,
Softly,
Memories return,
Swiftly,
Softly,
Peace abides with the thoughts of you,
Swiftly,
Softly,
Tears still fall
Today is February 14th. What a day ...
Valentines Day
Mad's Stroke Day
Dad's Guest Book Day
This is not the closing of your book DAD, just a new chapter beginning.
Our lives continue, day by day,
Swiftly,
Softly,
The pages will turn,
We can't remove the cornerstone of our lives, even though you have gone from your mortal body, the foundation and the heart of our family remains,
Be patient DAD,
It is but a little while,
"Are You Ready" we know you well,
Soon DAD, soon ..
We will come to you, whole, renewed, happy to be with you, safe in the arms of Jesus.
Not the end, neither is this goodbye. ..
Just,
See Ya Dad

To poppy,
Though my time with you was short, I will never forget your cheeky smiles and your big hugs. I had some great laughs with you threw out the years. I am truly grateful and blessed to have been in your life. I will treasure all my memories with you forever.
Until we meet again.
LOVE YOU. XOXO

To my wonderful dad.
Many years ago there was a time when I couldn't find my place among six girls, you allowed me to explore dad, you saw the pleasure I got out of going to work with you concreting and building with my hands, to this day I still use the skills you imparted into me.

You instilled in me to work hard, to have integrity, that family was so important, good, bad or indifferent, KEEP THE FAMILY TOGETHER, I hear those words constantly whispering to me.

When people got to meet me, they would say you look like your dad, when they got to know me it was even more evident, your big heart dad is what I inherited the most, you have a legacy dad even though there were no boys, all of your girls still rely on you principles.

I am glad I had the honor of looking after you dad, there were some special moments among all of the sickness that we were still able to have a giggle. Love you with all my heart dad. You rest now, your job is done, nothing more to do. Greatly missed.
Your daughter Pam xxxx

We spent a lot of time in and out of those sheds. We did some concrete jobs together. Always some project. Time was of the essence. Shared toast with cheese and jam many a morning. Of course there was always a brew on. A strong cup of tea to calm the nerves and give strength to get right back to the job at hand. No lack of tools to use on the job. It was just a matter of finding the right one. We always did.

Job completed. Well done. No time to rest, there were so many places to go to and things left to do.

Your experiences became my fond memories and we re-lived them together over that famous brew we drank together. I like to think of it as the cup of tea that knits two hearts.

And now I look forward to another brew with you. In true glory days when once again our fellowship will be perfect with our Savior.

And what is past will only have been a warm up for all that will be. Things I do not know as yet. But you have now already seen.

Till then Dennis.

As the sign says over the garage "We love our Dad". You once told me - I could write that anywhere I liked when we saw a similar sign painted on a farm shed in your Swan Valley. I love you Dad....and those words will always be written on my heart! xxxxxxxxxx I miss you so much..

A RED ROSE FOR YOU ON VALENTINE'S DAY!

We spoke/laughed on the telephone weekly sometimes more - you were there!
Life is a journey and no-one knows - we come and go.
Memories will last - I will be strong.
Words have been written, but you were gone.
The Guest Book is now closed (14.2.2013: Valentine's Day).
You are not alone.
The trees/grapevines will whisper as you hear me on the phone.
This is not goodbye: "Hello Dad" you are near.
Forever in my thoughts, never forgotten - the candle shines brightly always!
(Passed away: Boxing Day, the candle lit Australia Day, the Guest Book closes Valentine's Day - A RED ROSE).
Love (xxx)

Strong manly hands rough and scarred
Years of hard work had left their mark
Balanced with correction, kindness and love;
Your hands were so gentle
Like the wings of a dove
How special it was in your last hours
To be able to hold your hand in ours

We will never forget you dad.

Will love you always, missing you terribly. xxxxxxx

Dad, some men live their lives with great adulation and fanfare. You lived as a humble man without notariety, but you have left a legacy of great wealth, in fact beyond measure. You have taught us us how to honour, to be truthful and faithful, to work hard, but above all else you showed us what a father is, to sacrifice your wants for the love of your family and friends. Your legacy lives on dad. Until we see you soon, safe in the hands of Jesus. Loved father to Linda, story teller extraordinaire with Howard, proud grandfather to Dave and Paul. Chief accomplice aided and abetted by his trusty companion, mum, to Mad's jewellery addiction. Missed greatly. Xx

To our beloved Grandfather,Though we weep for you in this time, we know that we have not seen you for that last,
For we shall you again in the hour that the Glory of Christ does come to past.

With all our love,

Dave, Paul & Mad
