My heartfelt sympathy goes out to a Bernie, Kate, Tim and Conor. From what I knew of Noel in the short time that I knew him was his kind heart, natural instinct to help others and his wonderful ability to talk and talk! He was a loving family man who will be sorely missed. May you R.I.P.

Very sad to hear this news. At school I was fortunate to share several adventures with Noel, especially at and away matches. He was also an excellent football organiser (which we needed at a GAA school) and a strong but fair competitor. I enjoyed his great humour and intelligence and his quiet consideration. My condolences to his family - I cannot imagine your loss.

Noel what a gaelic footballer! You provided laughter wherever you went. At work we laughed and laughed. We lived through every second of Bernie's pregnancies - he was so excited to be a dad - again and again and again. To your children your dad was an amazing person, everyone who met him will remember his great work forever - he was a loyal and true friend and he was loved by everyone.
