 Memories & Condolences
This Guest Book will remain online permanently courtesy of The Burns Family.

Anne,Joey, and Judy as this birthday reminder brings sadness to the family just take a minute and view Billy's legacy. It is difficult for me now to keep up on RI news now that I live in Mexico but I felt compelled to send a message of condolence.
The age difference never permitted me to get to know your brother better but his reputaion in the old neighborhood was beyond reproach. If you were looking for a straight arrow Billy was the true definition. If I accomplish half as much as your brother in the years I have left I feel it was all worth it.
With all due respect.

Mr. Burns was one of the best teaches I had at Classical and certainly the most quick-witted. As a predominantly right-brained student, math never came easy but Mr. Burns was ALWAYS there to help me through both Algebra II and Geometry. I was lucky to have him in my corner. "All roads lead to Olneyville," indeed. He will be missed.

Mr. Burns was one of the best teaches at Classical. He brought the fun to math and turned me from a math hater to a math lover. He will be missed.

Whenever there was more than one method of arriving at a solution to a math problem, Mr Burns was always quick to remind his students that "all roads lead back to Olneyville". And, it's in that spirit that I want to remind his family that as far as Mr Burns is concerned, all roads also lead to heaven.
