To the Chatman Family,

Our condolences and prayers go to all of you as we are deeply saddened to learn of Bart's passing.

Included in the countless memories of Bart that we shall always cherish are those highlighted by his residency in Hanford Village and those in the broader community context during the mid 50's. He was a prince among the warriors of Hanford, displaying the sweetest and deadliest hook shot--with both hands--of anyone within a 25-mile radius! Bart was a founding member of the Velvetones singing group in which he maintained a solid bass bottom while being featured as the lead dancer, a skill he never lost.

We will miss Bart and pray for your continued healing through acceptance of God's perfect will.

To my dear Aunt Sophie and family he will always be Uncle Bart to me. A good man goes home knowing that he was loved and cared for by his loving wife ever there and vigilante. Thanks Auntie for always being there for me! I pray that some peace and comfort abound from God's arms and embrace my family during these difficult times.

I remember how he always greeted my husband and I with a smile. He will be missed.
