Mr. Robertson built Insbrook Village condominiums in my home town Ruidoso, N.M. He also had a beautiful home not that over looked the old airport. My sister would come home from school and saddle up and rider her horse up through the open fields up past the airport in the evenings. One evening I saw Mr. Robertson's vehicle coming down the driveway and he was leading my sisters horse by holding the reigns out the window my father and I went out to meet him and I took the reigns and he got out of the rig and my sister was sitting in the back dirty with a bump on her head. She had been bucked off and he had seen it happen went out caught the horse and gathered my sister up and brought em home. He stayed for dinner, for a few years he would come down and saddle up and ride with my sister from time to time, and always eat dinner when they came back. Great man, great voice, great memories. Gods speed Mr. Robertson

Well I do not know how many of you know this but Dale was not just an actor, but also a singer and poet, and if you knew him you knew of his poem a man with a face, the end is something like this.

But maybe someday with fatal powers that be, will shed a bit of grace upon thee, for I will follow him up to his wonderful place, and see once again the man with the face.

I am confident that he is with grandma Vervel seated with the man with the face, saving a place for us all.

Bless you Dale, And peace and prayers to the family Susan, Rebel, Rochelle.

I met Dale Robertson and his wife at the Princess Hotel in Acapulco Mexico on the breakfast line . He was standing in line in front of my wife and I and I recognized him and said "Good Morning" to him and he greeted me with such grace and shook my hand and engage in conversation with me like he knew me a long time. He was a gentlemen and I will never forget his kindness and friendliness towards me and my wife and friends. Rest in Peace, God Bless
