Senator Rudman was one of the rare breed of fiscal conservatives who carried the Senate through the tumultuous economic challenges of the 80s and early 90s, and through the turbulent political change of a global dual power structure shared by the United States and the Soviet Union, to the many greater and lesser voices of social change after the break-up of the USSR. He remained a steady voice of conservative reason after he left the Senate, and continued on as an elder statesmen, attorney, and commentator, much respected in New England, Washington D.C. and international political circles. His wisdom and influence on Capitol Hill and in Concord will be greatly missed. He had a wonderful smile.
The Senator was and still is the standard that all politicans and attorneys should follow. He was a gentleman and was a person to trust, admire and his friendship was one to cherish. The Senator will be missed, but the citizens of NH and the United States were blessed for his being. God speed.

Warren made this country a better place. He led by example and hard work. Unfortunately his kind may not be seen again. Rest in peace, Warren. The world is a better place for you having been here.
Senator Rudman, you were a shining example of how a public servant should work for the better of his country. Indeed, you were a rare breed and a fine man. Rest in peace and thank you for your service to this country.
