Sorry this is very late in coming to you, but my first husband, George Bodnar, who was KIA in Viet Nam in 1968, was a Sigma Chi brother and great friend of Jim´s. Perhaps Jim spoke of him. I admired Jim very much as well. Heartfelt condolences to you.

A tremendous athlete, a respected fraternity brother and an accomplished aviator. Our paths crossed a few times after college when we were in Pensacola at the same time and later at Don Scott Field when Jim was beefing up his aviator's resume. He was a true gentleman and embodied the principles of Sigma Chi Fraternity. Fair winds and following seas, Jim.

knew Jim mcgeorge from 1965 on. fraternity brother fraternity officer roommate. All-round good guy: competent smart down to earth upbeat kind fearless and always upbeat and fun to be around. never saw him get mad never saw him say a negative word about anyone. he went on to live an exemplary life. we would not have guessed in 1966 or so that he would have gone to have become so involved in flying. parkinsons is a heartbreaker, 73 is too young to go. he will be missed by many people
God Bless
