As Amy stated below, Laura was one of my very first friends. That picture she posted is the three of us waiting for the bus on the first day of kindergarten. We grew up together in Westerville, riding big wheels, riding our bikes to Highlands pool, playing softball in JGSL, and eventually cruising to lunch in high school in her barely street legal rusted out VW Bug with AM radio. I have not seen Laura since the summer after high school graduation; but I have nothing but happy memories of our friendship. I know her life was not always easy. The loss of her mom was profound. She was always kind hearted and a lot of fun to be around. I wish her daughter peace and comfort. Know your mama loved you. My condolences to the rest of the family as well. Godspeed, Laura.

Laura was my first friend, along with Wendy Green Rutter. We all lived within houses of each other. My mom watched us after Kindergarten. We were all three in the same class, something that never happened again. She was kind and caring, and so so funny! I'm sad we grew apart, but will cherish the memories I have of her. Sending love and light to her family and friends. Rest in peace.
