To Bob's Family,
Bob was always in the know about what was important at the time. While I was
a member of the Kettering Board of Education we experienced his coming to Board meetings to clarify a particular situation in the state pertinent to education and he always made it easier to understand. He was a devoted public servant and one who will be missed!

Although I never met Mrs. Corbin or Lynn, I worked with Carol at King's Inn Restaurant at Imperial House Arlington. Mr. Corbin was a super guy who always treated his employees with the fullest respect and gave us incentives to always strive to do our best. It was fun to go to work in those days. My sincerest condolences to you all.

Watching the petals of flowers falling on my newly wed daughter in law Sharon Hershey's wedding train as her and Jack left church was one of the most beautiful sights. It brought tears to my eyes. But you Bob were the one standing next to me at that special moment in time. Your kind words were so special. I will never forget it.

Dear Ede And family, We were so sad to learn of Bob's death. What a great friend and what a great American. We so much appreciated his relationship to Otterbein College and especially his help to the O'Club. He certainly lived by Rotary's service above self creed. We shall greatly miss him. William N. With saddened hearts we have learned that our dear friend of over 50 years has passed to his reward. We have memories of many wonderful times spent
with Bob and Ede, and Bill says he will always take some small responsibility in Bob's going into politics back in his restaurant days, when I started calling hims "Senator" becaue of his gift for gab and dynamic personality. To his beloved Ede, I (Bill) must remind her that "the little muck" doesn't tell "the big muck" how to prepare communion! (Inside joke). Ede, you and Bob have aloways been two of our dearest friends. Our love, thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Bill and Evie Swartz
