Thomas “Skipper” Andolfo, 83, of North Providence, Rhode Island, owner and operator with his wife of Skippers Diner on Hope Street for 35 years until his retirement in 1993, died on Saturday, October 21, 2000. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, October 24, 2000, 4-8 p.m., at Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 25, 2000, 9 a.m., from the funeral home to St. Augustine Church, with Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston, Rhode Island. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Hospice Care of Rhode Island Foundation, P.O. Box H, Providence, RI 02901-9979.

Mr. Andolfo was a lovely man, and we will miss his smiling face and generous heart. He was a wonderful father and attentive grandfather. He will be missed.
