Not sure what to say?

It's been a dozen years, Tommy, and I still think of you every day. What a great trove of memories I have of you, including the night we both decided to play basketball at Duke. -Mike Tissaw

It's been almost 9 years since we lost Tommy. I still think of my friend often. I miss him so much. We had so many good times together. It was impossible to be in his company, and not be enjoying life. He taught me a lot about what it meant to be a great friend. Love, and miss you buddy.

You will never be forgotten... you were an inspiration to many @ MHS... you will be missed

I am sorry I just heard about Tommy's passing. He was a good man with a wonderful personality. Always a competitor on the court, but that was not what defined him. He was kind and compassionate, and quite simply--a good man. Rest In Peace Tommy.

I offer my sincerest condolences to the Emma family and to all of Tommy's friends. The Lord continues to watch over him. God Bless Tommy and God Bless to all of you.

Tommy I'm thinking about you as Duke beat my UNCW! Seems like yesterday you were at my wedding!

There are few in this life that show Genuine humility during times of prosperity. Tommy Emma was such a person. I was introduced to Tommy on a basketball court. Watching him play was truly a joy. We would also meet up at George Bruns basketball camp and compete with one another. It was easy to admire and value his gifts with the basketball but it was the kindness he showed to all that separated him from those who have great success early. I was reading the various entries on this site and...
