Due to health issues we will be unable to attend the celebration of Doug's life, we are truly saddened to hear of his passing.... Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers! On a personal note, Uncle Doug was truly a kind and gentle soul, his example is something I strive to live up to...

Dear Ken and Cheryl,

Ken, I was so sorry to read of the loss of your father. My memories have dimmed over the years but I do recall Doug and Wanda always being so kind and hospitable to your friends. I was always comfortable being at your house. I think your parents genuinely liked teenagers! It sounds like Doug's life was filled with love, family and friends. What more can one ask for? I hope your happy memories of Doug will sustain you, Cheryl and your family at this difficult time.

I had the privilege to know Douglas "Doug" as we both belong to Scop "Sheriff's Citizens on Patrol. Doug was a Field Training Officer in the Willow Creek Unit and he was truly a Officer and a Gentleman who truly loved his Community and fellow man and served them well. Captain Bernie Jorgensen Scop.

Doug is now one of the brightest shining stars in his beloved galaxy above. He was one of the finest, kindest gentleman you will ever find. He treated everybody with respect no matter what their problem might have been.. I loved him from the bottom of my heart and admired his knowledge of the world. Miss you always Patty
