I remember Jay from many years ago when I was very young. I always thought she was the most beautiful woman and loved her accent. May she rest in peace.
Dear Linda, Keith and Greg Anderson,
Buzz and I are so sorry to learn about Jay's death. I worked with her at Planned Parenthood when she was a board member. She was an elegant, beautiful, strong and smart woman who contributed always to groups in whatever commuity she lived it. I will miss her greatly. Judy Webb

Our best to Jay's family at this time. I worked with Jay when I was on the St Joseph Board, and she was such a lovely lady to work with and be friends with. We are sad that she can no longer bring her smile to those in need in our community.
I am saddened by the loss of your loved one. She was remarkable person. I first met Jay when we lived in Orick. She was a very close friend to my mother-in-law, Eloise Nelson. Over the years, we would run into each other and always enjoyed our chats. Thoughts and prayers are with your family.
I was saddened to read of Jay's passing. I volunteered with her at the ACS Discovery Shop. I admired her strong character, and her ever-ready smile, no matter how she was feeling, physically. She was such a grand lady. Jay will remain in my thoughts and heart forever. Sincerest condolences to her family and friends.
Linda, Keith and Families,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your mom was a remarkable woman. Truly one of a kind. I have many fond memories of her. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Linda and Family I am sorry for your loss.
I first met Jay when I worked at Redwood Memorial and she did at presentation of Reach For Recovery in 1969. Later we met at Dominican College attending a seminar on Hospice care, and have fond memories of working with Jay, Larry Hill and others to found and work on the Hospice Board. and when she organized the Hospice Shop! She was a very dedicated worker for all the organizations in which she was involved!
We are sorry to hear of your loss. Jim & Judy Hagood
