I was lucky enough to work with Randy and Bernice at the Arcata Safeway in the early '90s. What a wonderful couple - both always kind, gracious and willing to help. I will miss them both. I took our grandson to listen to Randy speak about his service in WWII and Korea at the library a few years ago and I will never forget the stories he told. A true gentleman, I'm proud to have known him

So sorry to hear of Randy's passing. My mom ran Henderson Center Beauty Salon next to the florist in the late 70's/early 80's. Also, we were neighbors on Humboldt Hill. Randy and Bernice were always very sweet to me, and I'm very sad to hear of their passing. Your family has had a rough year, losing both Randy and Bernice, and I send my sincerest condolences.

So sorry to read of Randys passing. I knew Him thru SCOP, and as a fellow Marine. He was VERY proud to be affiliated with both. A true gentleman. He will be missed. May God bless

Sandra & Debby
Your dad was such a special person - always a gentleman and he made everyone else feel "special." Having known both he and your mom through the years, always doing floral business with them at Dolson's and getting advise and information from them later, and as a member of Calvary Lutheran Church with them, he never changed through the years - always the same sweet, lovable "teddy bear." He was a very special person to me, as was your mom, and he is and will continue to be missed, but not forgotten, by me and all who knew and loved him. Please know that you and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers always.

Randy and Bernice were both lovely people. I loved going into the floral shop, bought all of my flowers from there. Our wedding flowers were purchased there, after 46 years I still talk about the beautiful Pom Pom mums on the altar. John & I were at the homecoming of the vets I still remember the smile on Randy's face as he was greeted by everyone, a true American hero. Peace and blessings to all of you.
