I can't pretend I knew any of these people well. However Mary was an instructor for the nursing program I'm in. The very little interactions I had with her were so helpful to me beacuse she was such a warm and caring person. She gave everyone all of her attention when it was needed. Her passing was felt in a big way by everyone in the program whether you knew her well or not. I pray for her friends and family that lost an amazing person.

Mary Scott was one of my nursing instructor's this semester and Nursing Club Advisor. She was my teacher, my mentor, my friend. I am so grateful to have known her spunky, fun and gentle spirit. My condolences to Olivia and her family and friends. Blessings, Dawn Everhart

Dearest Family, I am a St. Mary's graduate, a bit younger than Mary, but remember her well. Like many of the upper classmates, I looked up to the intellegent, saavy and forward thinking woman that preceeded me, she was one of them. You are blessed to have spent your lives with her, I feel blessed to have been in her company and fortunate to have her and many from the academy as role models. Thank you for sharing her with us. May God continue to bless and keep you. Darlene E. Conklin (Moore)

I left Eureka several years ago and Mary was one of the people who took my mom (Frances Nielsen) in. She treated her like family, checking on her, baking for her, inviting her to the kid's activities. Mom spent many holidays with this wonderful family if I couldn't be there or if she couldn't be with us. She loved telling me about the art work Livie or Geddie made for her or the fun she had playing games with them when they were little. When my mom passed away and I was going through her things I found pages and pages of drawings she had kept in a special place.

Livie, I'm so sorry.....I hope knowing how much your family was loved, and by so many, will bring you peace in the days to come.

Jody and I knew Mary and Howard from what seems like not that long ago...the 90's and our many bike rides together and especially the Marble Mountain Pedalution. Such wonderful people and such a tragic loss. Our deepest sympathies to Olivia

My dear friend Mary Scott. So many years we worked together through our connected jobs. She was nicknamed "Puthrie" and I, "Ninamuchouf" by an elderly woman we both cared for at home. She helped me through a difficult time in my life by her wonderful cartoons. I vividly remember both her pregnancies and how proud she was of her kids. I wish you peace, Olivia. Your Mom was a wonderful woman and my friend.

Dear Libby- I will always treasure the tea towel you embroidered for me along with your graduation picture and the Kuljian annual family Christmas cards. The special times I spent with your mother always left me with knowledge, fun, laughter and a smile on my heart for having been with her.
Hugs- Gigi

I knew Mary from her work in public health, and attending the statewide Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health meetings. Mary was an amazing nurse and person, gone much too soon. She was funny and strong in her dedication to improving health and wellness for families. My heart goes out to Olivia. I can only hope you know how many are sending out prayers for you.

What a beautiful tribute to an amazing family, did not know them but it seems they made the world a better place and the stability they gave their children will help Olivia face the future without them. The loss of such good people is truly a tragedy.
