Please accept my apologies for the loss of your brother/cousin/best friend. May the holy spirit of our Heavenly Father, Jehovah, be with your family.
One year yesterday and I still can't accept it. A good man gone way too soon. Someday I hope God will show me why. I pray for healing for his wife and children.
Vince, i just newly discovered your mitch rap books and have given me hours of pure joy. On reading the acknowlegments of Last Man i was confused to see your talk of cancer and prayers. After research i was stunned and devastated to hear of your battle with cancer and how u fought fearlessly My heart goes out to lysa and the kids. You have made the world a better place. You are sorely missed
You were and remain an incredible find, an author whose great works in literature make you as legendary as any of the old masters - Michelangelo, Mozart, Bach. I was so shocked and beyond saddened to hear of your sudden passing. I knew your illness was of a serious sort, I lost an uncle to cancer of the pancreatic variety. I will definitely miss your excellence and distinctive voice inside my head. There's never a good time to lose a great author but I am certain in your captivating tales that you have set a high bar for the next generation to aspire to.
My favorite author. He is truly missed. I have every book he wrote and read them often..My condolences to his family. Jayne Claxton
Thank You Vince for the stories. You made life better and more entertaining for many people. You were a true patriot, father and husband. This country needs more people like you.
For Vince Flynn, thank you for your wonderful books. You and your family are in my prayers.
I just read this and am sobbing: I immediately began praying for Vince. I had no idea he was so unwell and having had someone close to me pass from cancer I know how hard he must have fought to survive. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you, his family and friends, all of whom must still be in such grief.
Even though he's gone, I said another prayer to thank Vince for his novels: I've been going through a challenging time recovering from a long illness and Vince's books have meant so much to me; they're the only books I've been reading. Tonight, I finished Executive Power and had been scouring my bookshelves for Memorial Day, I was checking the reading order and came across the news. I can't stop crying, please know how much his art meant to all of us. Especially me. I hope and pray that you are able to focus on the wonderful times you had with him and not the last, hard days. I'll keep him in my prayers.
I use to come back from dawn raids and patrols, and was great to just lie back in my dugout and read your books sometimes with my maglites right on through the night! They were good times! You will never know how much your books meant to me ..we surely have lost a great author and person .
To your family.
Dear Mrs. Flynn and family: As an avid reader I discovered Vince via my son Ben. From then on I was hooked. My beloved husband of 52 years died shortly after Vince's death and I miss them both for vastly different reasons. I wish for all of you God's healing touch and know that He is with you always as is Vince in each day of memories. Respectfully, Dr. Rita Neu
Embarrassed to admit discovering the very sad news only two days ago. Discovered his first book in 2006 at an airport. Was immediately hooked and couldn't wait to read them all. A tremendous character was created and will always be my favourite and on a selfish note can't comprehend there won't be additional ones published. I know it's belated but I want to send my sincere condolences to Vinces wife and children I really am deeply saddened for you all. Often thought would wright after reading each book thanking him for great entertainment but never did. Hope you receive and accept message in the vain it's meant.
Look after each other and please take care
Very best wishes
The light will never fade
Thank you God for the gift, of Vince Flynn to our world.

My fav Author is gone and along with him my Favorite CIA agent . My thoughts to his children and wife.

My sincere condolences to the extended family. I travel around 50 miles each way to the office at least 4 days a week, and when listening to a Vince Flynn bokk on CD,(I re-visit each one about every 4 months) I often sit in my car to finish the current CD. By far, by far, the most dynamic character ever created is Mitch Rapp. I will miss Mr Flynn's tremendous talent.
I MISS YOU VINNIE. I THINK OF YOU OFTEN. LOOKING FORWARD TO THE LAST BOOK WITH A CO-AUTHOR. IT JUST WON'T BE THE SAME.
It seams, that to many times the most special must leave much to soon !
I just heard of Vince Flynn passing over into a place especially reserved for authors of fine novels. I have been a sincere fan for some years now. He is and was my favorite author and will remain in both my mind and heart until my passing, which cannot be much further down the trail, for I am 83 now. He made my life much richer. You have my condolences and I acknowledge that old adage, "Life is not fair!" This is merely another example. I feel as though I have lost a very good and close friend, until time passes for me, I will be re-reading those novels, for they merit it. Ron Hall
My favorite author of all time.By all accounts an even better man

Thoughts and prayers for Mr. Flynn's family, friends, and to his literary followers. We will miss his wonderful novels.
It got to the point where I had to read the book as fast as possible to see how things were resolved; and to think he had to publish the first book himself! What resolve! and I am glad he did. So sad to have a life end so abruptly. He has left a fine legacy for his children. Best of all wishes to his wife and children. The world has lost a great entertaining author.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I always enjoyed reading Vince's novels.

It is with a broken heart that my husband and I learned of the passing of Vince. I am 75 and my husband is 83 years of age. We always loved Vince's character of Mitch Rapp; we thought he was really Vince. He wrote about an American who never lost his moral compass and, for that, we are truly grateful to have shared a part of his life. May God take you into His prescence and keep you well, Vince.

Vince was a man of strength and convictions. He overcame many adversities and shared his passion with those of his readers. Our lives have been blessed as a result of knowing him through his writings. He made me realize the many great freedoms I do have in this country, and the sacrifices required to keep them.
God bless all his family and friends.
Vince was a member of International Thriller Writers, as was I...readers are mourning his death across the world...besides being a successful author, he was a decent guy who did much to lend support to other writers.
As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
Farewell to a wonderful writer.
We are so sorry to hear about your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I wish Mr. Flynn was a founding father or a future candidate for president. I cried when I learned of your passing. Please say hello to John and Josh, they'll show you around. God bless.
I have read several of Vince's books and was in awe of his knowledge of war tactics. I was more impressed with his personal life and faith. I have recently lost a 8 year old grandson to heart failure and with his irish name Quinn I hope and pray Vince will look after him in heaven.
"The gifts that were given to us are physically no longer with us, but they will be in our minds and in our hearts and a part of who we are and what we do each and every day of our lives". So sorry for your loss...

Vince, I want to thank you for writing and sharing your considerable talent. I stumbled upon the Last Man just a few months ago and have been enjoying your writing immensely. I was shocked to find you had left us and wanted to thank you for hours of book reading joy. God bless.
Like most of us, I never had the chance to meet Vince, yet of course I knew him. I stopped reading due to poor eyes years ago, then started up again maybe seven years ago. One of the first books was "Term Limits". Needless to say I was hooked. Ironically, I'm in the middle of "The last man". My deepest sympathies to the Flynn family. Somehow I always felt a connection to Vince, and didn't know how or why. Last year I contacted an old friend/coworker who I hadn't talked to in years. I remember back in the day he would mention a "Flynny". That happened to be Vince's older brother Pat. They say it's a small world, I totally believe that. RIP Vince.
So talented and so young! I am so sorry for the loss. My sympathy to the Flynn family! He gave so much plesure to so many! He will be missed!
I've read all of Vince's books, and heard his interviews, and I feel an acute loss. I can't even imagine what his family and friends feel. I will pray for all of you. Please know he made a difference in this world and will never be forgotten.
My sincerest condolences to your family. I didn't know Vince, but my sister did during his bar tending days and couldn't say enough good things about him. His books were the reason I took up reading for pleasure as an adult, and I read the first 10 in two years. I couldn't put them down. I also appreciate all Vince did for the military as one of my sons is a Marine, and his generousity didn't go un-noticed. Thank you for sharing him with the world.
Two things about Vince stand out to me and are legitimately both inspirational and genuinely Christian. He was unswerving in purpose and remained a humble guy despite his overwhelming success. I will always aspire to these things and remember Vince's life as an example that they are attainable.
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. May God be with to give your family hop and comfort in this time grief.
Heartfelt prayers to the entire Flynn family. Role models are far and few between in today's world, but Vince Flynn provided one both in word and deed. His moral code and love for life/family speaks volumes for the love shown within the Flynn family.
May this GOOD man's soul rest in peace. My prayers go out to his family.. I will miss his exciting take on the corruption in politics...Vince always hit the nail on the head...

Terry&Kathy Our deepest sympathy to you and your families on Vinnies passing. I will always remember with pride the honor I felt in being able to play in two tee it up for the troops thanks to his generousity. God bless you all!
I'm so sorry for the pain of your loss. I enjoyed every word of every book Vince Flynn wrote and handed each book off to my husband who in turn, kept handing them around as he traveled the world on jobs. The books were great and I always looked for another one in the grocery store to see if a new one came out yet. Instead, our daughter called us with the saddest news of his death. Please accept our condolences and know that you are not alone in missing this fine man who gave so much to so many. I'm so sorry.
Sheila and Mark,
My deepest sympathy to you and your loved ones.
I always enjoyed the stories about your brother that you shared with me while you were grocery shopping.
Your positive attitude is an inspiration. God bless.
A tribute to Vince Flynn. We celebrate his amazing life as a father, husband, friend, author, protagonist, philanthropist, mentor, coach, and since the pen is mightier than the sword, warrior. He was the last man we would want to lose this way or this soon. Vince is immortalized by his work and will not be forgotten by all those whose lives he touched. His spirit and memory live on and he will always have our backs.

Dear Family of Vince Flynn,
We were introduced to Vince Flynn novels by my 89 year old mother-in-law. It didn't matter that it was a slow night at her retirement center, if she had her latest Vince Flynn thriller! When reading the acknowledgements in "Kill Shot", we were startled that he had dealt with cancer, but were convinced he nailed it. We are heartbroken for you that he is gone from you for now. Please know that our prayers are felt for you. Thanks for sharing him and his gifts with us. -An avid fan, and a Barton tutor

Flynn family ~ I am MaryKate McMahon McFadden sister Flynn family ~ I am Margo McMahon Fochler, MaryKate McMahon McFaddens sister. I was heartsick and saddened to learn of Vince last passing while on vacation in Mexico celebrating my remission from colon cancer. Vince so thoughtfully and kindly reached out to me last Fall when I was diagnosed and found out I had to undergo chemotherapy and surgery. He truly inspired me with his generosity and spirit despite his own health struggles and setbacks. His faith and optomism in the midst of his struggles is an example to me of how to live when the going gets tough. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Margo McMahon Fochler

Dear Flynn Family,
We all thought for sure that Vince would beat this so it came of great surprise. While we cannot understand why God calls his children home, we must trust there is a bigger job Vince was needed for in heaven. While it does not always comfort a grieving heart, we must surrender our control. . . .as we know only God holds the plan. May you find peace in knowing Vince truly touched this world and made it a better place for many. I pray for each of you that God will wrap his arms around you and grant you peace.
My wonderful husband died on 6/8/13 and had been too sick to read "THE LAST MAN". How great it would be if Vince can tell him all about it! Our prayers go to Mrs. FLYNN & children. GOD BLESS YOU.

By your example, you proved your great passion for our military warriors and country. You taught us how to stand up to bullies through Mitch Rapp. You taught us men how to be tender-tough, and yet show deep love and compassion by how Mitch Rapp treated women. You had many of us who called you friend, even though we had not been formally introduced. You were my friend, Vince and I will never forget you. I will pass down your books to my family members that follow me so that your legacy will be extended to numerous generations. Thanks for all the laughter and tears...goodbye for now. I'll get to meet you in Heaven.
A true patriot , Vince was a sweetheart of a guy. Jesus will welcome Vince into paradise where he will spend an eternity in joy and with a new body walking the streets of gold and writing about a world without war and pain and corrupt American politicians.
An amazing and talented man taken too soon. He will be missed by millions. My condolences to the Flynn family from a big fan of his incredible books.
My deepest sympathies to the family. May you take comfort in his legacy. Loved his work....
I'll never forget him. He was a bright shining light. God bless his family and friends. Our prayers are with all of you.
At St. Thomas, I remember Vince sitting in the library surrounded by many friends, smiling and engaging in conversation. Even though he was the center of the group, he would always make it a point to acknowledge everyone who would pass by....sounds like he never lost that wonderful trait. God bless.
Our prayers are with you and your family.
I lived only blocks away from Vince Flynn. I enjoyed his books very much, and although I never saw him in person or ever got to know much about him, after he died I felt a shock and total loss as if he was close to me. May his work, love, and spirit live on.
Thinking of Vince's family & friends as they go through this time of grieving. Thank you for sharing Vince Flynn with us, his fans, as I enjoyed reading everyone of his books as much as his other fans. He has left a great legacy, not only as an author but as a person truly interested in others, as shown by the connections he continued in organizations around the Twin Cities. He will be missed by so many people.
I read all of Vince Flynn's books . My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. His brilliance will live on!

We never will know why God chose to take Vince at such a young age with so much ahead of him. Maybe a wake up to the medical and insurance community to provied coverage and screening for PSA for all men, just as we do mamograms for Breast Cancer. I did not know you Vince, but being a St Paul person I sure knew of you and of course loved the books but better the man you were. My prayers are with the Flynn family and friends - Tammy

Thank you for sharing Vince with the state of MN. I could not wait until every book would come out. I knew it ment there would be a book signing and interviews to listen to on local radio. Vince Flynn was a tremendous talent, whose every book I've read and enjoyed. He was a hero of a man, on many levels, but most importantly by how he "kept the faith."
Our thoughts and prayers to his family and friends left behind, especially the children. Harry Potter lit our son Luke, on reading, Vince Flynn did that to me.
Blessings, Paulette Lewis, Robby, Leah, Luke Cashman and The Convent of the Visitation and STA Communities.
This is a true day of mourning. As president of the Twin Cities Sisters in Crime, I wanted to extend our deepest sympathy. We are all heartbroken. I heard Jason Lewis give a wonderful memorial show about him yesterday, and the impact he had on the entire country.
Terry and Kathy and your entire family, our deepest condolence. He was such a great talent and such a great guy. He will be missed by all

Vince was an amazing author and one of my favorites. I and many, many others will surely miss him and the indomitable Mitch Rapp. There are not many of us who can touch as many lives as he. We are fortunate when someone comes along who can do that in such a positive way. Much sympathy to his family.
What a wonderful man. Although I didn't know him personally, I enjoyed his books and most of all seeing him on TV. My sympathy to all his family and friends.

While reading one of your books, many years ago, I came across our family name...Mitch was in Rome, Italy...his girlfriend had gone down to the restaurant and ordered a bottle of Foradori wine,it was so shocking to see our surname in print in one of your books!
I am so glad to have discovered you!
Thank you so much for all of your great novels
You will be so very missed by your family and readers!
God's blessings to you and all who love you!
Kelly and the rest of the Flynn family sending thoughts and prayers to you all!
We are so sorry to learn of Vince's passing. We wish you warm family times of great memories.
I'm one of the millions of readers of Vince Flynn's books. I discovered him last summer, when I was getting "bored" with my usual genre of romantic stuff. There was a blurb at my local library about the best-lent books of 2012, so I went with it and picked a book from the list by Vince Flynn.
I was floored by the humor, excitement and action of his book (I think the name was "Pursuit of Honor", but not sure). I loved it! I ended up reading another one of his books, and now look forward to more. I'm so sorry for your loss.
My condolences to the Flynn family. I got to know Vinnie while he was working at Plums bar, he was an easy soul to have a conversation with. Before I knew Vinnie I got to know Dan and Pat while at STA for two years. God Bless his family and friends
Dear Terry and Kathy.

Thank you, Mr Flynn, for sharing your gift with the world. Hours of enjoyment have been spent with your books. My son is a United States Marine and we want to give your our thanks for the respect you showed to all the military branches. It was inspiring to all.
God Bless you Vince Flynn, your family and your friends.
We've lost a brilliant point of light.
I actually attended STA and graduated in 86 with his younger brother Kevin. I regret not getting to know Vince when I attended STA at the same time, but I grateful on getting to know through our sons playing basketball together, ever time STA played Hi-C. During that time I saw and heard how much he loved his family. I talked with him after he found out and one of the first things he told me to do was go get checked out. I understand after talking with others that he requested they do the same. I was so fortunate to get to know him, I will truly miss him. I want to extend my condolences to his wife and kids and his entire family. He was an unbelievable person and we were so lucky to have him in our lives.
I am in the process of reading your books in order and am enjoying them very much. Will miss seeing your writings. R. I P.
Years ago I met Vince when he worked at Plums.
Not long out of college and working on the first book,
he was so enthusiastic and impressed me considerably.

Having read every Mitch Rapp thriller I was very sorry to hear one of my all time greatest authors has died. I'll really miss him.
Oh Vinnie… You are just larger than life... It just doesn't seem possible that you're… Someone once said "Love doesn't die, people do. When all that is left of me is love, give me away." You brought so much love by way of escape, joy and humor to this world. Wishing you peace in the next and strength to your family as they carry on in this one.
Dear Flynn family,
My husband was lucky enough to have met Vince at a book signing of Memorial Day at Lake Country Booksellers in White Bear Lake in 2004. We are avid Mitch Rapp fans and always looked forward to October when we knew a new book was coming - the Fall will be a little less sweet in the coming years ....our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I am sorry for your loss. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
My deepest sympathy to all of Vince's family, friends, and devoted readers. We are all grief stricken at the news. Our prayers are with you. He will be missed so very much!I had the pleasure of meeting him at a book signing, here in Birmingham, AL, after his first book was published and he became my favorite author at once. Every year, I purchased his book on the day it was published and released to the public and then would "save" it until Christmas day to read it. Christmas Day will never be the same.
My prayers go out to the flynn family my parents got me hooked on his books. I know that he is in the arms of Jesus and i pray that Gods angels come down and surround the flynn family at this dificult time.
It isn't often that talent, faith and a deep love of country come together in one person. All of us who saw Vince interviewed and read his books only have a small hint as to what has been lost by those close to him. My deepest condolences on your loss. He is gone too soon, but will live on in the literary legacy he left as well as in your hearts.
I feel like I have lost a family member. I am so sorry for your loss. We love his books. Rest in peace, Vince. We will miss your books.

When you get to heaven, say hello to my dad. He would have loved your books as much as my son and I do.
I have read all Vince's books and enjoyed them all. My friends also read them and we were all shocked to hear of his death. We will miss his great stories and Mitch Rapp, who we called a 'Studmuffin'. Just wanted to send my condolences to his family and let them know how much we enjoyed his work.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Flynn family as you go throught these difficult times.
Thank you for the many hours of great reading, Vince. You left us far too soon. My deepest condolences to your family.
To family of Vince Flynn: I thought the world of him as a modern "thriller" author. I impatiently awaited his next novel. I am so very sorry at the very premature death of this talented writer, and his loss by the family.
I was Vince's 4th grade teacher (also Sheila's) in Apple Valley. I remember his bangs framing that cute face. Even as a 9 year old boy he was kind hearted. I marveled at what he became and of what he overcame to become a writer. I am so sad that his life ended so early. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Flynn family.
The news of Vinces passing is difficult to digest, I am a prostate cancer survivor for 5 years. I thank him for getting me to discover the joy of reading while I was on the mend from my surgery. I listened to an interview with with Joe Soucheray's Garage Logic. His knowledge of the CIA and FBI was facinating, and I was hooked.
Thank you Vince for all you have done for those of us with prostate cancer, my only wish is you family will take some comfort in knowing you touched more lives that you could ever know.
Gods Blessings to you family and friends of Mitch.
PS. If there were Mitch's in the work of real life we all would be better for it.
Vince Flynn.. Thank You for Your Kindness!
I'm about to turn 47...cannot imagine dying this young...My prayers are with the family.
May the Blessed Mother who comforted you at his bedside continue to comfort you for years to come. What a kind and genuine man. Peace to your hearts. The Herbecks

Dear Terry,Kathy and family,
Our prayers are with you in your time of grief. Your loss will be echoed by millions of his devoted fans.
I first "met" Vince Flynn through the Glenn Beck program. He seemed like such a person of integrity that I decided to read one of his books, even though I was never into thrillers. I was hooked. I also followed his valiant struggle with cancer, admiring his faith, courage and optimism. He is gone too soon and will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him most. But he will be missed by so many for his marvelous gift of story-telling. A tragic loss to this world, but heaven has welcomed him home. God be with his family and give them peace.
I will miss reading his books so very much. He was probably my favorite author. RIP
I am sitting here and at a lose for words. Having a husband with prostate cancer I want to say I know what Lisa and her family are going through but I can't . I met Vince at a book signing in Charloettesville Va. My friend Naomi and I drove 3 hours and were lucky enough to sitt in the front row. Afterwards he sat and signed books and took pictures with everyone there. He will be sadly missed. God Bless Lisa and the family . My prayers are with you all.
Each book made my day, kept me up all night and in anticipation of a new one.

I thought he would beat it. So Sad -He was one of a kind. How I hurt for his family.
Vince was the very best. I read all of his books. I would rank him right up there with Baldacci, Clancy,Grisham, Coulter and a on par with Hemingway. Term Limits really set the tone for
all that followed. My wife & I will miss his work.
Dear Flynn Family, Early during my first days at St. Thomas Academy I met Vince Flynn. Terry would bring him to practices and he would run around throwing footballs and entertaining the troops !! He has kept doing that as my favorite author. I will miss him and want his family to know that he will be in my family's thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Leo Collins

Vince brought me countless hours of listening pleasure during my 3 hour daily commutes. He was a true American writer – taken from you too soon. Take comfort in believing Vince is right now telling St. Peter how he was way ahead of the CIA super sleuths. I'll light a candle in his memory on Sunday. Rest in peace Vince.
Sad, sad news. I will miss you Vince although I knew you only through the joy you gave me through your books. Peace. God Bless your family.

I have been a fan of Vince's books since I heard him on the KQRS morning show many years ago-based on his interview I went out to get his first book and was hooked! I am typically not a "military reader" but his books were so awesome and the story lines were great! I was saddened a few years ago to hear of his cancer prognosis and had a very sad day yesterday to hear of his passing-I never met him but heard a lot about what a fine, outstanding person he was-we need more people like that! I will miss him and his books-I am sorry for the family that he had to go at such a young age-the world lost a truly great person-He touched many lives from himself and his books! My sympathy to his family- Bernie Kemp Dayton, MN

My annual Christmas present from my youngest son for the past several years was the latest hardback Vince Flynn novel! I looked so forward to it!! You are absolutely, unequivocally by favorite author!! Mitch Rapp and his heroic selfless behavior on behalf of his country (despite it's government frailties) was inspiring! I am truly hoping that men and women like Mitch really are out there protecting us in such a fearless determined manner.
My condolences to your dear family.
You will be truly missed!! God bless!
