Senator Inouye has always been an inspiration to me and many of my generation (the children of "The Greatest Generation"). He is a true American hero and statesman. He will be missed.
Wow..He live an impressive life. I am sure he touched many people lives. My heart goes out to the family. I am not sure of your religion but Isiah 25:8.is comforting..He will never be forgotten.

I feel a lot, Mr. Inouye, you fought with the 442nd, as my father. A Mr. Inouye I met took care of our yard & eventually getting him home to Japan. I always wanted to write. 442nd won't be forgotten. R.I.P. Good sir.
Senator Inouye is a great American hero, I a privileged to have once shaken his hand at an AIPAC banquet. His greatness and his simple humanity will be sorely missed. May G-d grant rest and comfort to his family and all who are left bereft. May G-d grant peace to all of us and to America and the entire world.
