Candy and Casey, John and I played softball at HSU back in the 80's. We had sporadic contact after that, but reading all the wonderful things written about him reminds me of how I remember him too. We had some wonderful times at HSU and John was always right in the middle of the fun. He was kind, thoughtful, and very considerate not to mention a great softball player as well. Our HSU softball family will miss him.

Many of us at SHN saw John as a father figure. He helped shape us into who we are today. We were blessed to have him in our lives and are going to miss him. Your family will always be in my prayers.

Dear Candy,I never had the chance to meet you but I remember John at many family reunions when I was younger. He will be greatly missed by your family. Think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched...for nothing loved is ever lost.Your in our thoughts and prayers. Terese Matz, Mae Quaccia and family.

I never expected to get "the call" from Betty. After visiting with you, I was so confident that John was going to beat this inconvenience. I am so sad for you and Casey. Your loss is so great. John's joy always filled the room. His love for his girls was so evident. Memories of John will always be your treasure, and can never be stolen from you. My prayers for the comfort of the Holy Spirit.
Love to you dear cousin, Doreen
