I'll miss Reggie, as I've known him since we were in high school together and got thrown off the bus together, and walked home to Hoopa! We worked in the sawmill together. Good memories! Til we meet again in heaven, dear Reggie. Our love and God's blessings to Reggie's family.

When young Reggie many years ago and tragedy struck, Katherine and i rented the trailer beside the house. We tried to help during those tough days. Someone dropped off a load of huge madrone rounds, all twisted grain and burly. I was whacking away at them with the splitting maul and Reggie came out and suggested that i chip away on the edges and then split them. That was a revelation. On Monday, 42 years later, i shared that knowledge with Les Kinney and remembered all the encouraging woods, the good advice, the gentle laugh, God bless you Reggie, you were a natural born prince.

One of the most gifted athletes that our community has ever had. He lived a life that sought the betterment of his people and his successes are reflected in the strong unity of his descendants. The definition of all that comprises a man in my eyes.

Happy trails Reggie, you were always smilling and happy, I really enjoyed our visits. The Valley won't be the same without you.
