She remains in my thoughts & prayers as well as her husband Glenn who gave her his total love & support, her children, brothers & all of her extended family & friends! I have loved Annette since 1956 when I was 3 years old. I always wanted to be like her or even knowing her. I could just tell by her voice and the things she would talk about that she was so sweet. And that she was a good wife, Mother, friend, daughter and good to her fans. When I got older in my teens
people would tell me I look alot like Annette and That made me so proud. I always wanted to meet annette and now I will have to waite till I get to heaven. I loved listening to her sing and watching her in the beach movies with Frankie! I always thought Annette was so pretty! I miss her so much! I pray that God will give all of her family all the strongest strength you need because I know it isn't easy to loose a parent and I am sure you are hurting as much as anyone Glen! Thank You Glen and the family for takeing such good care of Annette! I cry everytime I think of her and believe me that's alot! She will be trully trully missed! I wish I could be as strong as Annette.

May God always be by all of your side,

I was an usher in Radio City Music Hall when I met Annette in 1960. I had become friends with Norman Polder who worked for Disney in New York. One day Norman told me Annette was going to be on the Great Stage and asked me if I would I like to meet her. I almost fell over; I had the biggest crush on her since the late 1950s when she was on the Micky Mouse Club and the "Spin and Marty" series, which were the biggest things on TV (I wish they would rerun Spin and Marty). In 1960 the only reserved seating in Radio City was on the first mezzenene. I was working Isle D when out from the executive elevator came Norman, Annette and her mom. Norman introduced me to Annette first and then her mom ( who by the way had the exact same hair style). Needless to say I almost passed out. Annette smiled and said " hello its nice to meet you" I felt like I was 2 feet off the ground ?? I saw Annette several times after that in the RCMH caffateria where she would take a rehearsal brake. I remember when she came on stage she wore a white sequind dress and was sitting on the rear deck of a beautiful white Chrysler 300 convertible with red interior where she sang her opening number " Tall Paul". Annette was a gracious person with a kind heart and beautiful smile. I will never forget that moment in time.
