Larry Clyde Bearden, 78, of Longmont, CO died January 12, 2014. Larry was born on September 9, 1935 in Dalhart, Texas to Clyde and Walline (Williams) Bearden. Larry served with the United States Marine Corps from March 25, 1953 to March 24, 1956. He was an air traffic controller employed by the Federal Aviation Agency. Larry enjoyed riding his Harley. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed camping. Larry was preceded in death by his parents. Larry is survived by his daughters Denise Bearden and Tracy Renee Jones, granddaughters Brittany and Brianna Armijo and great-grandson Josiah Ortega. No local services will be held. Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory. Inurnment in Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Visit www.ahlbergfuneralchapel.com to share condolences.

Larry, you were a very special friend all through our working years together in Albuquerque and Longmont. Your fun loving way of life was truly a blessing to those who knew you. I'm sure that your friends, Hal, Mooch, Dempy and Mchatton are with you now enjoying a cold one. God Bless your soul and rest in peace.
