I love you sister pat you were a great mother
She is always with me. She showed my daughter that the world is not handed to one but if you stand up and make goals you can be anything you want to be. She really loved the children in her class and helped them flourish and they held in such respect.
I remember her teaching my daughter that "no one makes you angry, you make that choice". Not only a teacher of fact but a guider of souls.
She was strong and tough and had a heart full of light. Bless her wherever she is.
Patricia and I have been friends for 11 years. She was so full of Life and very feisty! We shared a love of many alternative subjects and spoke at length about Love and Light. She also loved her companion, Gentille, her sweet cat more than anything else. I asked Patricia what she wanted to share with me about life and she said, EARTH IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE. I will remember Patricia fondly in my heart and soul and will continue to visit Gentille and send healing Reiki energy to her and Patricia always. One LOVE. Thank you for being a wonderful spirit teacher for me. Blessings
In a conversation with my Dad, I was just recalling Ms. McCarthy's influence on my life, as my Grade 7 teacher at Glanford. I am not a good athlete at all, but she encouraged me to try out for the B soccer team and challenged me to work at something at which I wasn't naturally skilled. I am grateful for her ability to push me outside my comfort zone in many ways.
Ms. McCarthy was my teacher for Grade 6 & 7 at James Bay Elementary. I remember her challenging us to debate in class and the sign on her door that said "I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person". I credit her with giving me confidence in Math - one of her key initiatives to give a Math test EVERY Friday. She inspired me and contributed to who I am today. An amazing woman... my condolences to her brother & sister.
