Lisa Patterson Obituary
Remembered lovingly by her husband of 25 years, Dwayne; children Kristina (Randy), Jacqueline (Scott), Jeremy (Meghan); older siblings Suzanne (Dale), John (Debbie), Fred (Iris), Julie (Wade); a large extended family, and countless friends. Predeceased by her parents Germain and Elsabeth Bouchard.
Lisa loved working as a RN for 16 years; unfortunately, in 2001 she was diagnosed with a heart condition that tragically ended her nursing career. She called the condition "her curse and her blessing" because although it took so much from her it also gave her the chance to be a very available and active mom. Lisa lived everyday like it could be her last; she loved fiercely, gave generously, cared deeply and lived gratefully. She believed it was important to create timeless memories with her family and loved many family trips these past 13 years.
Heartfelt thanks for the compassionate care provided by the staff on ICU/CCU at RJH, especially: Dr. Della Siega, RN Julie, SW Barb, and family doctor Dr. Brad Hunter.
A memorial service will take place at 2pm Thursday May 29, 2014 at First Memorial at 4725 Falaise Drive. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Broken Promises Rescue from which she adopted her beloved dog, Maggie.
