Still thinking about you kiddo.
Always loved your witty humor and quick to the point thoughts. May you Rip and meet again in the next chapter of life. Your brother Rob

Can it really be that a year has gone by already. It seems like yesterday that we were sharing thoughts, some fears, enjoying her garden, and always, no matter what the conversation, Janes ability to provoke laughter resolved everything. I feel her presence often, her spirit truly does live on. Even so, she is dearly missed.

As the year since your passing comes closer, my heart aches. You are missed every single day at one moment or another you pop into my thoughts. You were my sister, my friend and for years we were each others moral support. Hope you are singing up a storm…but could you try some sunshine now, please?

I changed the station on the radio the other day and who should be on but "The Barenaked Ladies" singing (you guessed it) 'Jane'!!
I miss my little sister, I was 10 1/2 when she was born on a dark and stormy afternoon June 10th 1963...Although she was younger than me, she had a lot of good intuition and knowledge, which she freely gave out...And you know even if she was a bit harsh, it was meant in a good way, from the heart! She had a beautiful, wry, witty sense of fun...Very feisty, right from the get-go! We will all miss her and hope she's having a ball up in heaven! I know she's now no longer in pain, and singing with the rest of the heavenly angels (she was an angel on earth too!) Love you my Janey-bug! Protago-Girl to the very end! Your big sister, Elizabeth xoxoxo (Lizardbits)
P.S. If Ken hadn't passed the "Jane test" I wouldn't have married him 31 years ago, and Jane was one of my bridesmaids...

Energy like light never ceases to exist merely changes form. Bless Jane in
her journey and calm in the thought that she is free to now be a part of all things.

Professor Zhu Kun asked me to post this letter to my beloved daughter Jane, as his attempt to post it directly from China appears to have been blocked. He has been a loyal friend of Jane and her family for many years. Catherine Foster
Dear Jane,
I clearly remember the first time when I met you in Guelph, Ont. when I was studying at the University of Guelph, 27 years ago. Ever since then, we have been close friends. Thank you so much for the thoughtful way in which you helped me to have a memorable and marvelous stay in Canada. Your kindness, ability, intelligence, wide range of thoughts and outstanding personality made a lasting impression and influenced me profoundly. Over 3 decades, our friendship grew to include all the members of our two big families.
Now you are living in Heaven. You will live at peace in God's presence. You can continue teaching, reading, swimming, singing songs as you always used to do.
Dear Jane, I will see you again in another world later on. We will always remain very good friends.

Professor Kun Zhu

Represented by wife - Professor Hui Chen and all the family

I'll always remember the first time Jane came to my house to give me a ride to Chorus, 20 years ago. She said "can you make me a sandwich?" We've been friends ever since. I loved her spunk, her boldness, the twinkle in her eye...the list goes on. I'll never forget you Jane. xo Mac
