We will always be grateful to Bill for his persistence when he decided to court our wonderful mother, Eleanor. Although their time together was all too brief, the love they shared was a gift to behold. Bill will forever hold a special place in our hearts. They are together once again, as they should be.

Every child should be blessed with having a "Bill Powell" in their life. That child would learn how to be a good person.

Their heart and soul would have infinite capacity for love, empathy and compassion. Their mind would welcome every opportunity to learn, grow and expand its base of knowledge. They would be taught how to 'jerry-rig' anything to get it working!

They would develop a very deep faith to carry them through tragedy and emerge still as one of mankind's finest.

Bill has been part of hundreds of lives and has enriched each one. Our lives will continue to be enriched now by our memories of Bill and by knowing that some of Bill continues to live on in his children, in their children and in their children.

A life well-lived here on Earth and now re-united with the souls of those who left before him.

With fond memories and my deepest sympathy to
his families,

Beverley Kernan

I really enjoyed my time knowing Bill and family. Bill was always a great man to have a good laugh... So long dear friend for now and can't wait to hear more jokes later.
