To Bonnie's Family: I am so sorry for your loss. My husband was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2008 and fortunately for him, they discovered it in time. I have since learned how much of a killer this cancer is. We need to find an early detection for pancreatic cancer. I pray for comfort for you and your family at this time.

Bonnie will forever be a part of my life. She was there during my teens and early twenties by way of "One Day at a Time." Things like that actually do have an effect. I will remember her with love and gratitude, always. My prayers are with her family and her friends.

My condolences to the Family of Bonnie Franklin. Watching her depict the single mom on "One Day At A Time" really helped to prepare many of us, who later in life would become single parents. Back in the day, "One Day At a Time", really gave the world a reality check that woman can make it as single mothers, be the sole provider and have a career at the same time. Thank you Bonnie for helping to build the confidence of so many women all over the world. May you rest in peace and may your family be blessed.
